Join the Winter Hill Urban Renewal Plan - Civic Advisory Committee (CAC) and help shape the redevelopment of the former Star Market site at 299 Broadway in Somerville.
The City of Somerville is looking to recruit new members to the CAC! The committee is intended to be a diverse group of 12 community members from different backgrounds, ages, languages, etc. who will follow the redevelopment of the site through construction.
At each step in the process, members will be responsible for bringing their own perspectives, and, importantly, connecting other voices into the process by helping run community forums and events. Committee members can expect to connect with their neighbors, engage with new ideas, and look for points of consensus.
No experience or specialized knowledge is necessary! Applications are due May 31, 2024 at 11:59pm.
